People with profound hearing impairment who do not benefit with hearing aids – be it children or adult – can benefit with hearing implants (Cochlear Implants and/or middle ear implants).

A Cochlear implant has two components, one which is surgically placed in the cochlea and second is an external fitting which is the processor.

Our team of professionals are with you before, during and after your cochlear implant surgery. Cochlear implant is a device to be used lifelong and proper guidance and counselling is done before Implanting and from time to time.

The processor is switched on 2-3 weeks after the surgery and then regular MAPping (programming) is done every month for next one year. Subsequent mapping is carried out as and when such need arises to improve the hearing.
