A pioneer who brought the specialty of Audiology and Speech Language Pathology in India and started the first University program in India & South East Asia of B Sc at B Y L Nair Charitable Hospital Mumbai 1966.

He also assisted in Starting similar program in Indonesia in1971. Received several awards in his career of 55 years including Life Time Achievement Award from Rotary Club of Bombay West. He started the first Centre for Language and speech training with modern facilities, for Cochlear Implanted children. More than 300 children have taken the benefit of training after the Cochlear Implant surgery.

Mr.Oza was responsible for starting Schools for Hearing Impaired children in Maharashtra. He has been on several Committees at National level and was the President of Cochlear Implant Group of India 2005-07. In 1994 he introduced in India fully customized In-the-canal (ITC) and Completely-in-canal (CIC) hearing aids.
